Xanje.com is a website where people may come to enjoy collecting pets, writing stories, and discussion. You must be at least 13 years old to join.
How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. We offer the use of a secure server and sensitive information, such as your email address, is kept visible only to the site administrators. We only send emails for registration, password resets, and other occasional updates upon your request.
How do you use my payment information for the "Dimensional" Cash Shop?
Xanje Mobile - iOS Application
Within our mobile iOS application, you may make Cash Shop purchases using the In-App Purchase system. This payment process is handled securely by Apple, with no entered payment information being collected by Xanje. Your use of In-App Purchases may be subject to privacy policies provided by Apple, the App Store, iTunes, etc. Xanje is not affiliated or endorsed by Apple.

Information We Collect
When registering, you were asked to provide the following information.
- Email address - to verify you are not a robot, and to allow you to reset your password. We also send emails with Cash Shop receipts, should you make a purchase. This is never shown publicly.
- Display name - this may or may not be your real name, chosen at your discretion. Shown publicly to identify yourself to other players.
- Pronouns - to help other players communicate with you. Shown publicly.
You also optionally were given the opportunity to link your Facebook account to use as an alternate form of authentication to our website. You may unlink your Facebook account at any time from the Settings > Social / Payments tab. We store only a Facebook login authorization ID, no information is stored about your Facebook profile.
In addition, we may collect the following information automatically:
- Your IP address - in order to prevent spam or duplicate accounts, and in the case that a ban must be placed against you.
- Your type of web browser and operating system - collected when sending support requests (Calls for Help) in order to simplify troubleshooting process.
If you use our iOS application, we may utilize a token to identify the app install session on your device. This install session token cannot be used to trace your device, but is simply used to persist your login session and provide consistent notification delivery.
If you use Stripe to make Cash Shop purchases, we provide a tool to remove stored card information on the Settings > Social / Payments page. More information about the Cash Shop is provided above.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. In rare cases, we may be obligated to release your information when release is appropriate, only where required by law.
We have taken necessary steps to comply with the EU's General Data Protection Regulation.
For the information outlined under "Information We Collect" above, Xanje is your Data Controller.
Data Processors: For Cash Shop purchases, PayPal and Stripe. For email delivery, Amazon Web Services. Additionally, we use Bugsnag for bug/error analysis, in which some of the data mentioned above (email address, name, pronouns, IP address, web browser) may be temporarily stored in log format at Bugsnag for review only by Xanje developers to assist fixing problems with Xanje's code / infrastructure.
Sub Processors: Xanje is hosted at Amazon Web Services.
You may contact a Xanje moderator or administrator at any time through our Call for Help tool, or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org to request deletion of your account and associated data. If desired, at any time you may also request a copy of all data we have collected about you.
